Member of a team of 3 people (2 developers and 1 PO), sometimes 5 (4 developers and 1 PO), at Zinio we take care of ingesting and processing the magazines that it provides by its B2C business. The company has an old and very “legacy” system which is used by both the staff and the users of large publishers such as Meredith, owner of magazines such as People, InStyle, Fitness or Food&Wine, our team is in charge of maintaining and supporting this tool while we build a new system based on micro-services which communicate through an asynchronous queue system based on RabbitMq, taking into account logging systems such as Kibana, CloudWatch or Sentry systems in which we will configure metrics in order to launch alarms in case that something goes wrong. Our day to day consists of analyzing the tasks that the PO presents to us, offering the best technological solution considering the time it would take to apply them and the value provided; applying them, testing them and taking the solution to production.

Member of a team of 3 people, at Atabix we redesigned and created from scratch the entire internal management tool for 2theloo, a company dedicated to the management and maintenance of washbasins in large commercial areas. The web application is in charge of managing the collection of the stores, the employees and the general billing of the company.

JUNIOR LARAVEL DEVELOPER (Jan 2016 - Oct 2017)

AT SISTEMAS

We work remotely with a 3-month stay abroad. We developed a bridge application in order to automate the transfer of reservations and room rates between different hotels managed by the client’s system. The tool was in charge of receiving information in SOAP format and mapping it against a JSON API. We used systems like RabitMQ for queuing and memcache for managing the cache.
